Information and contact details for the Whose app and compatible E-Ink phone cases.
Using the app
Choose an image from the library. Collage and Polaroid templates let you add photos to frames sized for your case display. Use the canvas to adjust the composition before transferring it.
The user guide linked at the bottom of this page contains the detailed steps. Control names follow the language selected in the app.
Transferring to your case
- Check that your case and iPhone model are compatible.
- Follow the NFC or Bluetooth connection instructions shown in the app for your case model.
- Keep the iPhone and case in position during transfer. Wait until the operation finishes before moving them.
- If a transfer fails, note the displayed message, check permissions and try again with a stable position.
Photos and permissions
The app uses iOS permissions to access selected photos, take a photo, export a design and communicate with compatible hardware. You can change these permissions in iOS Settings, under the app or Privacy & Security.
If you have limited photo access, add the images you want to the allowed selection. A photo stored only in iCloud may need a connection so that iOS can retrieve it.
Contacting support
Write to the contact email below. Where possible, include your app version, iOS version, iPhone model, case model and the steps before the problem occurred.
You may include the diagnostic code displayed by the app. Do not send a password, sign-in code or private photo. Share detailed diagnostic files only if you choose to do so.
Account and privacy requests
Use the same contact address for access or deletion requests and describe what you need. The account deletion page also explains the in-app process.
